At Island Marine Adventures we try to help individuals and groups nourish their souls and rediscover their adventurous selves in a fun way. 

 

Activities are tailored to suit, maximize and accommodate the needs, ages and schedules of individuals, couples, families, students, groups or employees. 

 

Our trips are safe learning experiences designed for people who want to have fun appreciating, exploring and enjoying what nature and the marine environment have to offer.

Our focus is to share the culture, wildlife and biodiversity and natural beauty of the Nanaimo marine and Island region.

Update: February 2025

​

​The summer of 2024 was extremely busy and most importantly we all remained safe.  

 

The Catamaran sailboat Shaowfax was moved out of the water to drydock for the winter months for servicing in preparation for the 2025 season.  

 

Over the last seven years we received  many thoughtful TripAdvisor comments.  Please check them out.  This past year we again received the TripAdvisor Award of Excellence.  I also understand that Google Business also has many great reviews.

We are available to take 2025 pre booking reservations.  There is no cost for this but it can help ensure that you have a tentative date for the time you choose.  Call me for details. Once booked we also ask everyone to call two / three days prior to your booking to confirm that the weather for your upcoming date is cooperating and the adventure is going ahead as planned.  

 

We don't go out in rainy or bad weather or in unsafe conditions.

Update: 

Last year we started to offer 2 hour Sunset Cruises which usually started at around 7 p.m.  These might be mixed groups.  They proved very popular.​

 

We have set up a pre and on-site liability procedure.  A copy of our form is found here on our website for you to examine.  Prior to boarding we will asking you to sign the liability form electronically on our computer tablet.
